Water Awareness and Behavioural Change

‘Savings on Tap’ has become a reality at Ashford's Highland Park Development where 200 properties have low cost water efficient measures in place.

Water saving features being
incorporated include ultra low flush lavatories, flow regulators, aerated shower heads with flow regulators and water efficient washing machines.

The features chosen reduce water, are easy to install, bring no cosmetic changes and cost a mere £270 per home.

All homes taking part in the trail are metered, with the data obtained being used to analyse the effectiveness of the water saving devices and seasonal tariff.
