In their 20 year history the Environment Awards for Kent Business have seen hundreds of organisations in Kent and Medway demonstrate their corporate responsibility and high environmental performance. These market leaders have improved company viability and gained a competitive edge through good practice.
Large or small businesses, regardless of sector, enter to compete for the honour of becoming Kent Environment Business of the Year. The overall winner is selected from the 10 Award winners chosen by the judges as the top examples of best practice, commitment, or positive impact.

The Kent Environment Business of the Year 2004 was Shepherd Neame. This family-run company have found innovative ways to reuse, recycle and increase resource efficiency - while continuing to be a locally renowned integrated brewer and pub company.
